Daughter-in-law, Candice, asked me to make a quilt matching the train pictures she painted for
Benjamin's bedroom wall. I used her original sketches as a pattern for the appliqués.
Cupcake "Sprinkles" make a background for primary color engines and cars connected by rick rack.
A brown stripe cut in 4.5 inch strips is sewn to the train panels. Brown bias tape creates the rails.
Hoping sweet Benjamin likes his new quilt even if it is a little late for his 4th birthday!
