Ryli's Birthday Case

I decided months ago to make a case for Lucy's friend, Ryli's , 7th birthday. But, the weeks slipped by and despite my diligent thrifting, there seemed to be a shortage of second hand train cases. I had pretty much given up on the idea when my keen friend, Emily spied a beauty at the Savers grand opening. Even though she is the queen of craft, she graciously let me have it. I brought it home and Lucy and I went to work.
{If you are looking for instructions on how to make your own case, I'll be posting them later this week.}

Notice that pile of laundry behind me, screaming to be folded? I'm really good at ignoring it.

And the finished product:

I made a few things for Ryli's American Girl Doll to put in the case along with some other goodies.

Happy birthday, Ryli!

you continue to amaze me! My mom had made a ton of cabbage patch clothes for our dolls, and they were always the favorite. How sweet!

I said it before, and I'll say it again: I LOVE LOVE LOVE these little cases you do. So cute!
